The superbrain charger has an external power supply with 4mm bullet outputs I believe. The hobbyking Eco 6-10 charger's input wires have alligator clips that have 4mm bullet inputs, so you would not even have to do any soldering to use your current power supply with it. If I were in your situation I would get the Eco 6-10 charger and just use your current power supply with it. For charging 2 batteries at the same time, just get a second charger and either a new power supply or make a parallel adapter so u can run both chargers off the one power supply.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

didn't know that. It might not be the case in this case, but it's good to know that some in-built power supplies are different. Thanks for the heads up.

I ended up ordering the Hobby King charger that was talked about.

Once I get the charger and use it a few times I will share my results.

Thanks for the help guys,
Nick

Here's a link the charger.

just to let anyone who is interested know. I have an order in for this charger and it just came off of backorder. So if anyone would like one now is the time to buy one.

I should have a full update/report on the charger by next week, as long as it ships out soon.

So I received my charger yesterday and it does plug right into my power supply from MRC.

So here is the power supply if anyone is interested,
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...C-Power-Supply

I think if I were to do this again I would have just bought another MRC Super Brain 989, right now they are on sale for $110 at amainhobbies and that comes with an external balancer and power supply.
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...RB126-Balancer

So when you look at the price of the Hobbyking parts,
$33 plus shipping
$42 power supply
$10-20 for balancer plug leads and temp sensor

So that is roughly $95-$100 and for $120 I could of have one that comes as a full package deal. I guess the cheapest charger isn't always the cheapest solution.
