9920 and 9L connector

9920 and 9L connector - 03.18.2006, 12:11 AM

Hi,

Im just a newbie and ordered a brushless combo from Mike. What will be the best connector to use to connect the 9920 and 9L? Would it be okay if a used bullet connector and what will be the size?

well the 5.5mm are certainly the best but i think that 3.5s are more widely used. thats what i use.

Hi and welcome, If you ordered a wanderer motor it will be prewired with 5.5mm bullet connectors. Mike has the extra connectors you will need. I would put these on both ends of the ESC and deans on the batteries. That's MHO.:027:

Its a Feigao 9L. I will used then the 3.5 mm bullet...

12 gauge wire.


The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

IMO, only high quality 12awg wire, such as W.S. Deans wire, should go on these expensive components. It is really up to you, but 12awg(gauge) wire is the best.

I agree with brijar. If you go with cheap stuff it will not flex like it supposed to on a rc. You will break some strains in them and hinder you current.
