Oh yes work at a local broadband provider. Thats our speed right on fiber. Now if my workstation was fast enough to use the speed i could do anything with all that bandwidth

We just got FiOS installed yesterday.

The DL speed is 10 Mb/s faster, but also more consistent. The UL speed is 23 Mb/s faster.

It's $125 a month including 3 phone/fax lines and the "premium" HD cable package with a multi-room DVR box and 2 other boxes. The price was fixed for 2 years.

and we just upgraded to cox's "highest tier"...........it's slower than it was before

edit:

even slower now. this is typical speed. the last one was peak speed. my internet is very unreliable even though it is the highest cox tier.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

I almost got the iPhone 4. We switched to Verizon early February and the next day the thunderbolt was supposed to be released. It ended up being delayed like 6 times and came out over a month later. During that time, i was using a 10 year old phone that has one of those antennas that you have to extend in order to not lose a call.

Anyway, Verizon had free mobile hotspot that I was using for internet whenever I got frustrated with my ISP. I just realised as I was typing this that it just expired today.

Wow, got side-tracked. long story short, I am happier with my phone's internet than i am with my home internet.

Sent from my thunderbolt.
