Is the D8T Bash Worthy?

I did some reading up on the D8's awhile back because I was considering one too. They seem to be pretty tough vehicles. No real complaints from anyone on different forums. One thing I noticed was the racers were paying alot of attention to the shocks though. Particularly the length and the amount of droop of the rears. I don't remember if this was just a setup thing or trying to prevent a potential problem.
