I got a 6T and I have finally broken two things; the rear shock tower which slightly cracked from repeated landings up-side-down when doing back flips and a lower front a-arm. Missed a landing and the jump had a curb which the wheel got stuck on while the rest of the truck was in the air so the a-arm and wheel took the hit.

Wing and body is starting to fall apart but those break on whatever car you'll get. At least if you drive them like I do
Yup, you're the one that got me really thinking about moving on. I wanted the Traxxas users to hear my experience and push the envelope a little. The erbe is marketed as brushless ready and 65mph etc etc. I was sooo easy on mine relative to what my friends were doing, so when mine kept breaking over and over, i just got fed up and wanted to see if others were also feeling the pain like me. It really gets to me how Traxxas has not really come out with some real upgrades. I mean, look at hpi, as soon as there were some grumblings they addressed the issue.

I honestly couldn't believe how much more durable these truggy's are, just blew my mind the other day. My erbe would have been sidelined after a half pack on 3s. Something would have popped out, bent, broke or given away. Tired of making excuses to the excessive $$ i spend on upgrades and attempts to re-engineer it to handle mild bashing. I hope others considering this rig read this and take head. Its a great truck, but not able to withstand brushless applications imo. It amazes me how many people come out on forums and say how durable their erbe and how after countless runs nothing has broken. Yet, when you get on forums such as this, there are countless people who have "been there, done that, had the same issues" feeling about the erbe. Its refreshing to know I wasn't the only one. Just venting, but very very happy that you chimed in jfs! I almost got out of this hobby and left it for good, glad i stuck around :)
