The 1527 1D motor is an amp hog. I don't think the MMM will be able to handle the amount of power (amp) that this motor needs. The only way I ran this motor was with the Hydra240 with a fully functioning watercooling on my 1/5 scale LSt2 conversion and also using a mechanical braking system to stop the car. I was burning my Hydra240 when I selected with brakes as back then I didn't know that the surge from braking causes a spike that makes the ESC burst into flames. My conversion was so uncontrollable even with the POS Maxamp that I used to have. 6S 8000 MAH. Goodluck on that beast. I believe this motor will pull 200 amp continous or in a burst and not a lot of ESC will be happy with that kind of load and make sure you pick a high C rating battery as this was probably causing my ESC to light up also. But that was years ago now lipo technology has change.
