That's a rather trick idler setup, wouldn't mind seeing / hearing a little more detail about it- how it the gear(s) held into the bearing so it doesn't slide back & forth?..

Yeah, that ^ and what holds the bearing in there too???? It looks like it's just sitting there. Very interesting and neat build. Very good to see something different being done with the Savage.
