Spending - 10.08.2011, 08:46 AM

I was going over my RC expenditures for the year. OH MY GOD !!
I'm supposed to be cutting back a bit in these tough times. So much for that!
Are you guys as bad? Are you still spending a load these days? Just curious.

Great question, I'm feeling the itch really bad but must say I've done well the last few months keeping it down, I say that but I just bought something a few minutes ago :)

The past two years i have been a Pay Pal advantage member... for spending over $5,000 in a year. Mind you that I do use Pay Pal for other purchases as well, but I also make a lot of local (gotta support your local shop), and credit card purchases too. I just don't want to do the math, less scary that way. I wonder if I can write this off as medical expenses... my doctor told me to get a hobby!

I have:
448 positive feedbacks on eBay in the last 12 months.
248 in the past 6 months
44 in the last month.

I'd say that's 70/30 selling/buying. After a selling weekend my Paypal account doesn't stay full for very long.

I haven't spent a dime on my Rc's in almost a yr. Times are tough indeed. Before that I reached my PP spending limit before having to be certified or whatever they are calling it in less than 2 yrs.

Haven't done much rc this year, but that makes up for other years. I keep a small checking acct with automatic monthly transfers and only try to spend whats there. Way too easy to buy a little thing here and there which really adds up.
