Should just pull the bad cell out, then you would have a 5s pack...

Agreed, not that hard at all make a 5s pack. Of course if you do dispose of the battery,I think the water discharging is supposed to use salt water isn't it?--Josh

I have no real use for a 5S pack atm and for the price of these Hobby King packs it's just not worth the effort as I can order them from the Australian warehouse now.

It was supposed to be salted water, corrected original post.

The pack discharged fine, took a few hours for the lights to go out then I left it overnight. No puffing and the multimeter reads zero with the load removed this morning.

Check around for recycling before just tossing it. Here in the US alot of stores like Staples and others have battery recycling. They don't post signs about it most of the time, but they take them at the customer service desk no questions asked. I just cut the leads off mine and tape it up to prevent shorts first.

Bought a 808 #11 720p keychain cam a while ago and finally got around to trying to video the XL with it velcro'd to the transmitter. First test was a bit ordinary and it doesn't seem to like bright sunlight too much. Also had trouble keeping it in frame as you can't see what you are shooting. Second vid is shorter and looks a bit better.

Thought i would post up a few final pics of the old girl in her natural state. I've finally got around to starting my new project and she has been broken down and in preparation for the new build. I can't begin to tell you how solid this truck has been and how much I have enjoyed driving it. It's actually taken me quite a while to talk myself into the new build because of this but I have learned a lot over the last year of driving and I have a lot of tweaks and new things I would like to try so it's finally time to move on.
