Halloween night. -

Well we had a blast last night doing the American rituals of Halloween here in Prague, and everyone seemed to appreciate what we had all put together considering where we are. My wife always keeps track of how many kids visit our humble home for trick or treating, and the number was right about 750 kids in total. She was pretty vigilent about catching repeat offenders to. There were also a lot of parents out watching over the whole ordeal just to make sure things stayed on the safe side. No one got hurt that we have heard about, and everyone got home safely. The costumes were awesome and everyone was very polite, which made it all worthwhile. The whole event started at 5PM and it was dark outside due to "daylight savings time" and ended at 7PM so they could clear the streets by 8PM, because the kids all have school today. We went through over 40lbs of candy, and nothing was broken during the attack of gouls and monsters. All-in-all a successful haunting.
Our son also invited about a dozen of his friends over to help celebrate his 15th birthday. He had not shared with us that they were all girls. A chip off the old block I guess. Everyone had a great time.
