Ultimate E-Revo basher - 11.10.2011, 03:34 PM

Hey guy's, Figured I would make my first thread here a good one. I am getting ready to rebuild my e-revo and turn it into the ultimate basher. The truck is getting a set of Flextek arm's, Aluminum hubs, single Hitec 5955-TG servo, LST diffs, And RC monster adapters so I can run the stock center slider shaft's. I already have everything ready for the build except for the diff's and RC-monster adapter's which I purchased last night. The flextek arms were on a nitro revo I purchased but I decided I was getting tired of nitro so I kept the vantage carbon fiber chassis and the flextek arms and put the truck back together with stock parts and sold it. Here is are some picture's of the truck from when I first put it together.

My LST XXL CVD's, and Mugen 17mm hex's got here today, Here is a picture of the LST XXL CVD's next to the old MIP CVD's. The LST XXL cvd's are much beefier and should take a much better beating without popping out. To use them in stock knuckles you will need to bore the outside bearing hole to accept a 8x16 bearing, And on the inside you have to use a 15x21 bearing which is a snug fit, But I don't have to worry about it since I am using RD racing hub's which use 8mm outter bearing's. Comments are appreciated.

Those lst cvds are good stuff.

Have fun with the diff mod, mistercrash has a good writeup with pics, and I have a few pics from the r&d stage when I prototyped the mod.

Thank's lincpimp. I knew I forgot something, I forgot to post pic's of the LST diff's, They are already in the bulkheads and ready to go. Now I am just waiting on my bearings for the axle carriers, Hopefully the the rest of my parts will be here tomorrow so I can start assembling everything.

Nice! Where did you find those flextecs? I'd love a set but can't find them.

Thank's. I go them off of BYT, They came on a complete Revo 3.3 that had a Picco .26max, a Vantage CF chassis, The FlexTek arms, and a ton of other goodies. Here are some pic's of the truck I took the flextek's from.

Now for the E-Revo update. My center dog bones and most of my bearings from Avid RC came in today so I was atleast able to assemble the rear suspension, So the only thing left is for the rest of my bearing's to get here. Everything went together without a hitch which was a huge surprise. Now for the picture's.

Traxxas E-Revo
Traxxas Nitro Rustler, 3.3 with traxxas resonator.
And my vintage Kyosho's.
