Cool design!
I agree on replace for the Gorilla.
I stick with the higher for my project though.
Want extra ground clearance.

Don't really think ground clearance will be a problem. It's the same chassis braces as on the higher chassis - just the batteries are placed lower on the bottom plate. The top plate looks a bit thinner too from the pictures.
