Ultimate Basher FLM Maxx build

Not much bling, but built to take a pounding and keep coming back for more. Definitely my kind of build, good job. My Emaxx is similar in concept, Rpm arms, FLM hybrids, Traxxas cvd's, Ofna buggy shocks, I just need to get rid of the stock chassis.

which buggy shocks did you use? If you don't mind my asking?

I used 8 Ofna LX series Front (rears are longer) buggy shocks that come on LX nitro, MBX, LX1e, etc. They can accept regular Maxx springs, or UE springs (UE Super Shocks are basically Ofna shocks), I used the Ofna yellow springs (nitro version) the shocks came with. I'd look up which springs are 1 or 2 steps higher in spring rate since my truck is mostly plastic (except for the combo bulks, skids and towers) and your truck is all aluminum. Nice build btw.

I already have UE shocks on the way but im always looking for something nice for my daughters build which i am doing next. thanks for the info. Where do you normally purchase them?

Thanks D3lap, there are some hard to find parts on this truck, but I finally decided they do no good sitting on my bench and I need to use them.

Got my tires/wheels today. Also tried on a few different bodies. Let me know what yall like best for a show body. If I run it with a body it will be a beater that i have on the shelf. Still searching for a cage i like.

Sorry, I didn't paint it so I don't know what paint it is. That one is one of my favorites though.

If you plan on hard bashing you might want to reconsider the RPM shock towers, they are so flexable they lead to bent shock shafts. I had the RPMs but swapped in FLMs after bending a bunch of shafts.

Thanks buzzsaw. I've never had a problem with that before, but I'm planning on putting some racer x towers on it anyway.

I had planned on running this thing by now, but one of my batteries acted up on the charger and I just haven't bought a new one yet. It said open circuit on the charger, so I unplugged it. Didn't get hot or puff, but I'm not sure what open circuit means other than a connection isn't being made somewhere. Any help is appreciated.

I've been busy with my hardcore builds lately so this one hasnt been on my list of things to mess with.
