If this helps and it can be done with a computer then downloaded to an mp3....I use GTunes for my music on my droid. It's free and has a lot of music choices, not as many as I tunes, quite a bit none the less.

I must have 300+ songs on my phone...all free! I listen a lot at work when welding as the sound of the welder crackling gets to me after awhile

4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S

I assumed you already had song files on your computer. I've ripped and converted all my CDs so I have around 3000 songs on my PC. All those CDs were heavy and took up a lot of room.

If you have songs on your iTunes, you have song files already on your computer.

It's most likely found in My Music, then a folder named iTunes, then iTunes Media, Music, or something like that.

iTunes is the work of the devil, but there are some programs out there that will work with music that has been 'diddled' by the iTunes software, allowing you to play it on a non-Crapple device. Personally speaking, I just use windows media player library for organizing my music, for the most part it's easy to work with & doesn't do anything funny regards DRM that might otherwise prevent you playing music on a separate device. Just drag & drop files onto the connected device, and away you go

I like this idea. I dont think there is a phone out now that wont play MP3s, and they usually have a headphone jack

Built Ford tough, with Chevy stuff.

It's really easy. Install the software of your choice, pop in a cd, and tell the software to rip and convert.

There are tons of software titles you can use to do this, but I personally use Exact Audio Copy. It's free, accurate, automatically gets ID tag data, and can generate MP3s directly.

If you use that software, you might want to change a few settings like converted file format (MP3, WMA, etc), quality (I personally use 320 bit rate for highest quality at the expense of filesize, but even then, each song is typically 2MB/minute max) ,converted file location, etc.

Once you insert the disc, wait a few seconds for the file list to show up. Then, click the little "freedb" icon to automatically retrieve song, artist, etc data from the online database, then click the applicable button on the left side of the window (the "CMP" option most likely).

I went to best buy & bought a scan disc 4g mp3 player. I tried to load a song but can not figure it out. so i am taking it back tomorrow, & may just get a small radio , i'm not sure yet. My landlord said he might change my phone plan & get me a smart phone when he gets back from a 3 week vacation to Australia. I'm sure im probably not doing something right with the mp3 player. But i think i will just go get my money back. Until someone can come over & acttually so me how to do this.

That's odd. So, when you hook it up to your computer, the player doesn't show up as an "external drive" (with its own drive letter) in "My Computer"? I'd be more than happy to come over to give you a hand, but Florida is a long drive to set up a $40 item.

Oh, that is even better than an iPod. What cell carrier you on? If your on Verizon check out the Rezound, I have one and I love it. Great phone and it comes with a decent pair of headphones.
