hi folks,

some news on that car. I had some changes regarding the motor, I have sold the tenshock, as it always got too hot, about 90 deg. celsius/190f... wtf... Great power and torque, but I emptied the batteries is a few minutes... not good at all. Many other guys had the same problems.

So I got that Leopard 4082 with 1500kv, but on 5s that is too low kv. The motor got too hot like that, even that the power and performance was good. At least 1600/1700kv are required for 5s I think. So I just sold that motor.

I got myself a new replacement rotor with 2000kv for my Medusa Afterburner 3680, the 1600kv rotor was damaged. We've got a shop here which sell the Afterburner motors.

What should a say, a beast, a monster, great torque. Of course, the 2000kv rotor has less torque compared to the 1600kv, but still sufficient. Very good to drive with. Never gets too hot on 5s, and together with the Losi smart diff it is performing well. Still, I liked the Torsen Differential better.

I will post some pics soon, just got a new shell. The zcar/LRP S8 TX Team is performing well, and is very, very rugged. Nothing broke so far. I just love it.
