In Florida anyone 16 & under is required to wear a helmet, while riding a Bicycle. Anyone over 16 is free to make there own choice. I personally wear a helmet on my bike. This is the one i wear http://www.louisgarneau.com/us-en/pr...DIAMOND_HELMET. It fits so good, most of the time i forget i am wearing a helmet. I can even leave the chin strap undone & my helmet stays in place.

not wearing a helmet is just stupid. It's not just the heavy accident; it's the case of a light accident, that damages the helmet, and you walk away with a headache. Some years ago, a friend of a friend in vienna had an accident with his bicycle, was under intensive care for 2 days or so, then died. no helmet.

at a harley meeting in Austria it was once allowed not to wear a helmet. so we had a ride at the lakeside, without helmet, was great. but just too dangerous.

myself, I broke my hip (!!) when I had a quite simple accident with my bicycle, had two 5hrs-operations to get it fixed. A lot can happen within a second.

It's better to look not that cool and wear a helmet, then not wearing a helmet and then -bang- you're not even able to wipe your a@@ by your self, cos you'r brain is totally damaged. your rc car got sold, to pay for food... what a great life... but at least, you looked cool

In Sweden there's a law forcing you to wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle and for all under the age 15 whenever they're riding a bicycle. Having had a Honda CBR900 RRY (-00) I wouldn't ever want to ride it without a helmet or any other protection. I've killed a small bird on my helmet as well as on my shoulder. Can't imagine what that would've felt like without protection.

in the friggin great land of America as was stated, we pay our own insurance or the tax payers do for idiots, America has given up on trying to hold the stupid and lackadaisical libel for anything. So its up to each individual tard to make his or her own decision.

See they are fighting male vasectomy to fight roe v wade. We pay more for lame law suits than tard helmets, Africas starving handless

I can understand a young, single person with no responsibilities wanting to take chare of their own fate by not wearing a helmet, but when you have a partner and children...

Who is going to pay the bills and look after the kids when you're wheelchair bound, or a dribbling lump of flesh sat in the corner? How is that fair on the kids and wife, forcing her to cope on her own because you were too selfish to wear a helmet?
