Been doing my own version of spring cleaning around here as well. This week I spent two days cleaning out and detailing our van, and cleaning up our front yard, cleaning out rain drainage, and setting up our new projector and 100" movie screen (family theater). We are in Prague, Czech Republic these days. Have been here for one year now, and should be here for two more. This place is beautiful and so much to see. With the weather turning warm the tourists are swarming the place like locust. Being in a country like this reminds me of how the USA was 30-40 years ago. Its like going back in time.

I taped my kit tires now they are near impossible to stretch on the wheel over the two of pieces foam. I'm about to take the belting out and let them balloon. Any belted tire mounting tips?

lol @ you 2 I didn't use those tires and wheels, I like the wheel but I saw threads of people getting irate putting them together, and whats with those foams. They stink like ass ! I put them in the garage in a ziplock bag. I bought a set of sweep belted treaded tires and a set of ipanema slicks.

been playing with it a bit and of course now its cold, 50 shore tires sure are fun when its cold, always wanted a drift car LOL only deal was it has bushings for steering 4 6x10x3 bearings good to go. Savox 1258tg is a loud ass servo. Traded my neighbor (a tekno kit for 8T) for the car posted below and a novak glitch buster thingy, it quieted up the servo a good 70%. Adjusting epa another 40% so by my math it should be quiet + 10% but its not lol Got a zippy 4s 45c lipo for 50 bucks and its faster than my neuenergy 5s they still truck the emaxx around though

Bandit for front yard fun

I have my ch1 end points at 50% to avoid the u-joints binding at full lock.

A fellow Ofna fiend I know mounted a Xo-1 wing up nicely, if your not looking for a ton of DF.

Your painting skillz are off the hook! How do you get that solid black color look?

yeah Bruce I have my epa at 60% (airtronics mx3fhss) never messed with that trim really with the monster trucks but this car will turn until it messes it up. I just rattle can sprayed it with pactra black metallic. I was going to do the roof scoop and side scoops with yellow. I went to hobby town by me for the black metallic and after paying $7 each for 2 cans thought I'd use an old yellow I had, it was clogged so I stuck a pin in the nozzle and got some in my eye and gave up with the yellow/ The Bandit was painted by a pro at Venture Hobbies in Illinois. Its Friday wonder of the gang will be at Kohls parking lot tonight. May be time to bang it up

It turned out good anyways. Darn yellow! I just have a few things masked off right now on my body. I need to make sometime this weekend to mess it up. Did you figure out how to mount the side bumpers yet? Was anybody at Khols last night?

Since you posted some pictures I thought I would too. I acually found a really good deal on a hobbywing motor and esc so I grabbed it and put it in this thing. Haven't run it yet but it's ready to go. Maybe next Friday I'll grad out to the kohls parking lot with it.

I can't decide if its more fun

One thing about this kit is the stock motor mount sucks IMO. I think I'm gonna pick up the RCM mount for this thing.

Bruce no I've held the side mounts to the car for a good couple hours (no I really don't have anything better to do) My wife's cool and lets me use the coffee table as a RC workshop/laptop station for a few days a week. I have a 1/5th it took me a year to put the side mounts on. Looks like we have to belt sand them down about 1/2 thickness an drill a few holes. Didn't go to Kohls it's too cold for fun, sat in PJs. Jhautz thats almost what I had really wanted for the body but the top roof some metallic blue. Pay you to paint my next one. Bill at IGT hunted me down one of those silver ofna nitro porshe bodies. Always wanted one. Well always wanted a real porsche but this may be more fun

Are these standard 1/8th buggy wheelbase? if so it looks like I bought the wrong body. I just did a Mclarren F1 body for mine but its not as scale as these look. Mine doesn't drop at all between the rear arches and the duck tail, and it has a bulge in the bonnet to clear the front shock tower, but the carbon one I made comes nowhere near it so is unnecessary.

Hot Bodies Lightning 2 Pro carbon, Mega 22/30/2, MMM, 4s3-5Ah.
Tamiya F201 carbon, Mamba 7700, MM, 2s A123 2.3ah.
Xray XT8, 1518, MMM, 4s5Ah.
Lots of boats.
