castles warranty process - 05.01.2012, 03:02 PM

well the other day I had my mmv3 take a dump. I purchased it last year and its still under warranty, but Im a little worried about sending it in. What had happened was the esc case had separated on a hard landing and pulled the receiver wires out of the PCB.

My concern is that I have taken it apart before and replaced the fan due to it breaking fan blades and while I had it apart I removed the on/off switch.

Also I may have to send in the pos mmp I just bought if the previous owner doesn't help me out. How long does it usually take? Do they usually call or email you once they have inspected them?

average about 3 weeks for me, sooner if you call them right after they receive them, and if they are in stock. No worries about switch wires removed...they will cover it as long as no soldering has been done on the board.

I'd like to give a shout out to castle and their warranty department! after patiently waiting and even going to their website to send an email about status, but got distracted...Got a email with a invoice for a replacement esc this morning with no charge!

It's nice to see that they like to take care of their customers! Try getting that kind of customer service from Chinese brands.. Now if only i could get some input on my 1717's rotor being out of balance...
