Finally found bomp proof shock set up for the Ten T - 05.17.2012, 07:14 PM

Ok all....if you really want to have a set of front shocks that should withstand anything....i give you the Ve8 fronts...

and lets not forget about the rear...RC8 buggy fronts..

This setup should be able to handle anything you throw at the truck. Speaking of which...the Ten T has surprised me on how durable it is. My friends and I frequently visit a bmx homemade track and our motto is simple...go big or go home! Needless to say we jump quite high and after countless beatings, the truck has been unscathed except for bending a front shock shaft.. So I decided to upgrade from the Revo shocks ( CRT.5 setup )I had to something bigger and longer. Result is the suspension is super plush. Suspension feels just like my truggy.

Happy jumping all!

My only gripe with the truck is a small one. The rear tires are so far out it is ridiculous. Does anyone know whom if anyone makes an adjustable rear toe plate OTHER than Losi?

Good job on the shocks.

As for the adjustable toe plate, I simply made my own...

Thanks. Actually, there is room for a slightly bigger bore shock on the rear as well especially if/when the rear toe is lessened...not sure of the RC8's bore at this time.

was thinking of doing that myself...just lacking AL at the moment

Another option for the rears which may fit are the Mugen MBX-6 & or Losi 2.0 buggy rear shocks. They may be a good fit as well for the rear of the Ten t. Just thought i'd throw that out there

Another good shocks option for the Ten-T are Ten-T shocks.
