Hpi rs4 mt 2 speed... wait, 2 speed?!?! - 06.11.2012, 06:54 PM

Yep, that's right I bought a hpi rs4 mt on ebay back in 06 and have had some fun with it single speed with a brushed 17t double, it was a great little basher. then a friend sold me a 2 speed for it and it was a blast! I then managed to lose the 2 speed pinion at the local mall parking lot. I looked for hours yet had no luck, then recently I found a 2 speed kit for a rc10t2/ b2 and losi xxt. so I bought it for the pinion, very expensive haha .

Some very few pics I have of it, these are a little older and are not currant to how the truck sits.

Right now it has a motor and traxxas springs for the shocks and proline 1/10th 4wd buggy front and rear dirt hawg tires mounted on tamiya back dark impact wheels. It sits low and is my onroad truck, it jumps speed bumps better then quite a few other new cars, really good considering this is over 10 years old.
hopefully this thing will be going soon, it ran for quite a while till I destroyed my novak 10.5 motor in it, funny thing is that the motor never got over 110 yet cuaght fire think it was the esc caused it since that smoked a lot before the motor decided to burn, wish I got pictures
now I need to buy a senorless motor around the 10.5 turn range, any suggestions? needs to be under 100!

thanks for looking
