I had a buddy call me for help to tune another buddy's nitro, and before he even said anything on the phone I said to him, "damn, that's lean, fatten up the high speed needle" (I could obviously hear the nitro running)

So over a speaker phone I dialed in a guys ride for him.

I should really work at a hobby shop...

You should Harold...you have probably forgotten more than most guys at these shops know...not to mention your humor would be welcome I'm sure
