Inside of the motor looks good to me- the magnets would tear it up something nasty and you'd definitely see the scaring if that was the case. Might just wanna use a clean rag or old toothbrush to clean the inside of the motor while it's open, then a new rotor kit should do the trick nicely...

Can I use my wife's toothbrush, and not tell her? Should I use colgate whitening paste? I have heard that 10 out of 5 dentists recommend not using a toothbrush as a replacement for a rectal suppository applicator. Is that true?
