Mission : ACCOMPLISHED! - 07.17.2012, 12:45 PM

Well with all of the help and support of this forum here we made Radio Control Car Action magazine's Readers Ride of the Month! I don't know how long it has been since a UE truck has been in the Readers Rides but I do remember in the Maxx's popular days there was quite a few modified trucks in that section. Usually one every month.

I am sooo pumped about it making a national magazine. Very cool ! September 2012 issue. I have been reading this magazine since the late 80's when it started and have always enjoyed that section and dreamed of one day one of my rigs making it in there.

I really am happy I started visiting this forum and posting up my thread in the UE section. Tons of great people over here and at UE that have a great passion still for the Maxx trucks. Very nice....

Thanks for the congrats guys! Yeah that would of been pretty sweet for sure. I gave them enough information in my submission for a couple pages.

Maybe it will get a good run for Readers Ride of the Year. Now that would be just epic....

Awesome! I don't think non-Maxx heads realize how expensive and rare UE parts are, and how much thought go into a build of your caliber.

I'm happy that you are getting recognition, but we r/c guys are nuts. We'd build these awesome creations even if no one ever saw them!

I'm glad you found Rc-Monster, and thank you for sharing your builds.

I'm wrapping up all my current projects. I just don't know if my next project should be an epic r/c or a late 80's mustang convertible?
