Traxxas did a pretty good job with the XO-1

I was finally able to unlock my 2nd hand XO-1 yesterday. Before I had been driving around locked even though I was hitting 60mph on the GPS. Only idevice I have is an ipad so I took apart the controller and used it to unlock the car.

This thing is highly stable at speed, you can tell the down force is work. Up until about 50mph the car feels kind of squirrely, but once you past that it just want to go straight.

I was able to hit 85mph in front of my house and I definitely wasn't WOT yet and the batteries were not full. Didn't have the patience too drive to a secluded parking lot in the middle of nowhere. I did have a wipe out on the 4th pass barely missing a mailbox post as it skidded like a stone on its lid. Only broken part is a $7 front splitter mount and a lot of scrapes and scratches.

I had considered selling it for profit (got it for a damn good price), but now I'm thinking I may be better off selling my rc8be since all I use it for is high speed runs anyway (best its seen was 78mph).
