what is a good brushless motor and esc to push these big tires around and get good speeds like 40's

That's insane for those big heavy tire's. You'll kill wheel bearing's like crazy. Not to mention the truck will be uncontrolable.

Warrior 9920 w/ wanderer 7xl on 14 cell's will do fine. You need to get some upgrade's in there since stock will not last long.

yea i knew the weight would cause problems but i am gunna outfit it with revo drive shafts and knuckles maybe mid to high 30's would be good would you recommend on a different setup or just ease off the throttle.

I'd recommend useing a lower kv motor, like the 10xl on 14 cell's, and gear it for 25 - 30 mph if that's what you want.

I would think that a 9-12XL would be great for this setup. I would also recomend a esc with amps over 100 cause you're going to get some spikes with those tires
