I am rebuilding the maxx and am using some FLM lower arms (which are same as stock length on the 3905) I just wanted to know if the Wide tracs are the same as the new "Wide" (3905) in length
so i can mix the FLM lower arms which I have with the UE wide trac upper arms with stock carriers.
Maxx - FLM, MMM, CD Med.36x706s
Raja - FLM Ext. MM, 1512, 4s
SC8ight - MMM, 1520, 6s
D8T - MMM 1717 6s
Can't dissagree more. FLM is great, but UE currently make the best a-ams available for the Maxx trucks. FLM is 6061 alu where the widetrac arms are 7075 alu. I agree the widetrac arms looks great on a shelfqueen, but they also take a hell of a beating.
I find WideTracs to be very durable... I have been bashing them for some time with no issues... I have even modified them
to facilitate sway bars with no ill effects...
the wide tracs a 6061. they are good for the low budget racer. they are lighter than flm and i heard they are stronger. i havent been in ue for a few months now but i think the arms are about the same price new.
i would just buy a full ext kit for the price of the wide trac arms new. unless you are planning on running newer emaxx knuckles and axles.

From my personal experience and from what my Widetracs have experienced since I got them, the set was a great investment...
I watched the auction for that link and I was impressed, even jealous that person won those arms at that price along
with the 'High Impact' lowers... I don't believe in spending a lot on them, but i like finding good deals because they are well built...
