haha, all I can think of that I actually used from Traxxas, are the trans internals

But this has been a ground up build, starting from nothing but random parts gathered from here and there, so there's no stock Maxx just laying in a pile of parts anywhere.

As far as the motor and esc go, I haven't made a final decision. I have it narrowed down to a few different motors. Will most likely go with a Castle ESC...maybe the new Mamba Monster 2 (I like that its waterproof).

I am definitely open to ANY advice anyone might have on what motor they recommend though. I would actually appreciate the input. My decisions have simply been made based on what I've been able to gather by searching around here.
