Any chance of seeing a 10s-12s version of the XL2 soon? - 05.28.2013, 01:41 PM

Just wondering, this is something I'd really like to see, MGM makes one but at 750 dollars for a ESC that's insane and at the end of the day, I only running castle stuff on my cars.

Any chance something like this could be in the works? Please?

Wouldn't the Castle Creations Hydra Ice HV be a good alternative at 200A and 50v ? I don't suppose it would require a pistix, but can't confirm.
In another point of view, I do agree with you, why can't the hydra Ice be tuned for trucks?

I think 12s would be bad azz in a truck. Of course, it would take some new winds on the motors too. Something around 700kv would be awesome.

Ive ran the Hydra ice HV in a 1/5th scale on 12s, it does not need a pistix as it is meant for a boat so a pistol remote will work. You will need to have some mechanical braking setup and it needs fans to keep it cool or you can utilize the water cooling tubes. Another alternative is to remove the casing and purchase a XL2 case to put on it, they are the same case the XL2 has a fan mounted instead

CUBIC INCHES = CUBIC HORSEPOWER = CUBIC DOLLARS
