Great radio, excellent range, lots of adjustments and settings possible on it.

Idlers: 2x Traxxas part 3996x $5 each + shipping
These are a little wider than the old E-Maxx idlers, but they work just fine in a 3906 transmission. I use them in my 3906 transmission in my converted Revo. I don't recall having to modify anything to make them work, but I could be wrong and might have had to lightly sand a ridge inside the case.

Buy a rear hybrid bulk and diff. It will take the most beating from acceleration, wheelies, etc. You will not regret getting the hybrid diff with its big, strong 1/8th scale gears. The peace of mind while driving to know that you can mash the throttle all you want without destroying a diff is wonderful. Put your upgraded diff in the front and shim it if it needs it. Or, if you want complete security, get the front and rear hybrid bulkheads and diffs.

(Arct1k is right; go lipo. Night and day difference. I would recommend Gens Ace 40c packs. Get a couple 2s packs. They aren't much more expensive than nice NiMH packs and will destroy any non-lithium pack in performance. They come with hard cases around them, so they are very durable. As long as you use them with a low voltage cutoff (built into MMM, just have to enable it) and charge them with a Lipo charger, they are very easy to maintain. Don't stab them, crush them, or short circuit them and they are perfectly safe.)

Already got the UE gears and they dropped right in.
For the radio I got the Futaba 3pmx from my LHS.
Using a 1/8 scale differential on the rear and 1/10th scale differential on the front is not possible due to the different gear ratios so its upgrade both or none. I am not able to find anyone stocking the FLM hybrids with the 1/8th scale gears. Just the hybrids and I would need to get gears. What gears do I run in these and where can I get them?
Batteries: 7 cell elite 5000 batteries are plenty I have enough problems with the power I have.
