It has been my goal to convert a Serpent or Mugen 1/8th scaler and I thought I had one. Traded an Inferno II for what I thought was a Serpent 966. Turned out it was a Power Racing XR8. Needless to say I was not pleased and really pived after I ordered Serpent parts that did not fit...but when given lemons make lemonade. Disassembled the roller and started mocking up a new chassis template. Top plate is getting mocked up tonight. Chassis construction begins when carbon comes in.
