Gentlemen we can rebuild him...we have the technology -

Yeah I stole that from the Six million dollar man because that is how I feel. On what began as a beautiful run up to 102mph, I didn't get out of it soon enough and he caught a curb, caught air and ended that run. The damage was extensive and the total. The good thing though, all the electronics are still fully functional. Back to the lab...

Serum....I like the speed...and that was my goal...100 plus on 6s. And I thought it was worse as well until I saw it up close. The carbon fiber didn't break at all...the plastic and aluminum parts did. When I build them...I build to last.

I finally got a chance to tear down the wreckage and it wasn’t nearly as bad as it looked. *The chassis is completely intact. *The 4.4mm CF chassis Held up beautifully against the curb and was wholly undamaged. *The plastic and aluminum parts though, I cannot say the say. *The damage tallied to be:
The front and rear lower arm holder plates
The front upper arms
The front and rear shock posts
The 3mm screws were stripped out of the front and rear gear boxes
I plan on fixing the stripped screws buy re-tapping with 4mm screw, as well as cutting out my own replacement shock mounts made from the same chassis material.

I thought it would have been worst. Only broke a few things and the best part, the front and rear shocks have already be re-built, better than ever. 4mm carbon fiber, this is not breaking.

The Beast -Back and better than ever... -

After about a month and a half of cutting, trimming, painting, testing and glassing, the monster is back and better than ever. Changed the gearing to go faster and the color to see better at longer distances, the Beast is ready.

What's good, old neighbor! I recognize the build before the user name, lol. Glad to see you're still building your own CF frames and tearing up the streets.
I took a couple year hiatus from RCs; focused more on the kids' electric ride on toys. The eQuad is now running nearly at 50v with a 750w motor. Next mod is to extend the swing arm to prevent wheelies, or at least tame them down!
Whenever ya wanna run for pinks, project FAAST Rustler has more than enough to call the win. ;)
