The e-revo is far superior from the maxx, the revo is alot better because you dont have to waste much money on it to make it durable, as for the maxx even with all the ue stuff it will still not handle like a revo on the track, JMO.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

Wrong. It could be very compatitive on the track. I've heard of someone who smoked a few revo's during the x game's last summer with a well set up sm.

But in order to get it to that stage, you end up spending 3 time's the price tag on a revo. So it's not a smart thing to do thus the revo win's. But still, a properly setup sm can take out a revo.

He he, this is getting interesting:p But the most important things to have on a track are ;

1. A good driver- without a good driver, it doesnt matter if you have 5000$ put in your truck, a stock emaxx could beat it as long as the driver is good.

2. Controllable power : You dont want to go on a track with a 2250 loaded with 6s lipo, this is overkill, a lighter setup is good.

3. A dialed in truck will make you a very happy racer:)

Well I tell you the truth. I like the looks of the maxx over the revo. I think the revo has more advanced suspension though. It is up to the money you want to put in to it as well.

i myself have owned both and i race as well so i know exactly how to set them up. a supermaxx is a great truck, dont get me wrong, BUT im sure if that driver you were talking about had a revo he would have been even faster. with the money i have in my revo i could have a supermaxx minus the vbs (not like i would spend 2 times the money of the flm). anywho, what im saying is there is a reason that everybody runs the revo....i have found that it handles better in ALL conditions as well as it jumps better, looks better, ect. basically the point is, if you put as much money in a revo as you did your supermaxx the revo would win hands down given the same driver...

And i like the fact that you can easily switch rockers for the track/bashing conditions you are going through.

Interesting Squee. So how come the guy in the x game's smoked some revo's with a sm?

http://forum.maxxtraxxusa.com/showthread.php?t=16801

It still is the driver who need's to get the truck around the track, therefore the revo will not be better per se with any driver.

like i said, im sure if he had a nice revo he would have smoked em never the less.... a good driver can win with a bone stock truck... as a matter of fact, i have won with the stock tires on a essentially stock truck...

There where some pretty nice revo's at the x game's.

I'm actually explaining that you are right here Squee, if you say the revo is better than a sm and it come's down to the driver, he did some impresive job beating a few revo's here and there which I doubt are stock.

exactly what i was trying to say there sneeck. its pretty much the driver but the truck does have some to do with it and the revo does its job great. the main point was that there arent parts for the revo like the supermaxx parts. vbs, true trac suspension,ect.
