2300Kv on 3S is my range of choice for scalers! Can't wait to get a green motor on a rig, with the new Mamba X!!! Very excited!

Not long... we haven't received our samples yet, but it won't take long for approval once we have them in hand.

Just to be clear, Patrick was referring to the new kv options being discussed.
We have received and already started shipping the 1406 series and 15xx series sensored motors (motors only, no combos available yet). The 1410 and 1415 motors are expected in early January as well as combos with the Mamba X with 14xx series and Monster X with 15xx series.

I realize now that my reply was as clear as mud.

We received the combo boxes for the Mamba X and 1410/1415 motors yesterday. The last update I received said the 20th of January for the motors.
So if there are no shipping delays we should start shipping the backorders for motor only and Mamba X combos some time next week!
I finally got to play with the 3800kv (Installed in an Axial Bomber) and I was tickled pink by the performance. The low end throttle control was superb and it seemed to run cooler compared to a sensorless version.

Great news! Got a 3800 on backorder for my Bomber as well. Looking forward to it!
Also, thanks for playing the 12 days of Christmas giveaway. I scored some good swag.

A 1410 is too small for a bomber
I picked up a 2650 to run on 4s in mine, it should be "entertaining"

Are there any plans for lower KV 1406 motors? 2500kv, 3500kv, etc?

Nah, the 1410 will be just fine in the Bomber. I did think about grabbing a 1512-2650 since those are readily available right now...

Hemistorm made mention of testing other kv's in his videos in the Havasupai.

Currently testing three different 1406 motors, 1900kv, 2280kv and 2850kv.
I got to play with the 2850kv running 2s on a fully hopped up Axial AX10 with rear steer using a Mamba X. Ohh boy, what a beast!

I don't think the back was suppose to come off, it has epoxy on it, but didn't put up much of a fight. If so, castle needs to use better glue.

Yea...not intended to come off, but you seem to have managed just fine.
Mmm, look at all that copper on the motor terminals. No losses there! And check out that double silicone conformal coating on the sensor board!
Now put it back together, slap it in a car, beat the snot out of it and let us know how it runs!
