Yes to all three. Bigger axles being the main thing. Anytime you can put something that is 1/8th scale on the maxx you win. The MMM system is too much for the stock maxx. My build thread(not finished) is called something like This 2200kvMMM is tearing up my 3906.

The second best thing about these knuckles is the they help elimi ate "bump steer". Have you noticed that the upper pillow ball is set in more? That is how it does this. That is why the RacerX knuckles do this.
