Had a total RC disaster yesterday.Been having some stabilty issues with my losi MF2,basically can't keep the front wheels on the ground since I under cut the middle 3 treads on the rear dirt hawgs by a few mm which makes little fingers to grip the tarmac, solved the traction problem but now it works a little too well.
i was doing a little speed run, feeding the power in then at around 40mph go for full throttle and it flips onto it's lid, then kept sliding for miles(bodyshells don't grip too good on tarmac) straight down the road, across the junction and came to rest upside down in a huge pool of muddy smelly silage crap.Took a pretty good dunking, when i picked it up all the water poured out of the body.Spent last night rebuilding the car, transmission was full of water. That's the second time my schulze has been for a swim and survived.Just let it dry then vacuumed out the silt and it still works!
Anyway, came up wth an ingenius high tech engineering solution, taped a load of coins to the front bumper, about 80grams worth and it works a treat. Now both ends rise up when i go full throttle but it cant quite lift the front fully, the front wheels kind of skim along the ground.Sorted.
