The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

Nice Looking.... Have you thought about supporting the motor wires - From landing off jumps they will move up and down a little - a little moving over a bunch of landings and you will short out the insulators between the wires. ( dont ask me how i figured this out ) All in all - nice ride...

Ive only run it across a wet car park, and a waterlogged field.
this is the UK what do you expect :005:
I am happy to say the speedo seems out of the way for getting wet (obviously it wouldn't do to drown it) but it means I can drive it on more than a couple of days in a year.
The handling is a revelation coming from a lardy emaxx, It will have to be worked on though as the set up is still stock.

HnC yeah I thought about it ..............................and did nothing about it:dft001:
I do have a gear cover somewere, maybe I could hack that abit and clip them to it, no?

VERY NICE TRUCK! only thing i would do is reverse the tranny, and shorten the esc wires to the motor.

Very nice truck!
Good thinking on the RX box! And nice battery hold-downs.
The protective film is not really my style, but you did a nice job! How about cutting the screw holes into the protective film?
The ESC mount is nice, too, but I would have chosen another location. Unless you have an SUV body, you wont be able to put the body super low.

DAF

ps: Dutchies, read his original thread! He mentions the RX box.

Brownie points for you Daf :027:

I got the box from here http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?...1689&criteria=

they have stores all over the UK, mabye its like Radio Shack???
the stickers however cost a little more. but they do look good.

that particular box is not that user freindly
The biggest problem was that it fixed together with a single screw through the middle, (right were the receiver sits)
you can sort that though with small bits of P38 in the corners of the box. when its set just drill it out and the screws will 'tap' themselves in.

squee, I messed around with the direction of the tranny/motor plate/drive shafts but this way seemed the best for the drive shafts to fit.

serum, me neither until a week ago, I saw it on a xxx and thought 'I need that'...... as you do.
Time will tell if its worth doing or not,

maxxdude, they are Epic ESP ...3800 and they fit under Mike's bars perfectly :043:

daf, I though I'd only cut out the holes that showed the glue side, and leave the real PITA job of cutting round the screws till I needed too :026:
The speedo site is not perfect agreed, but its always a compromise were to site the damn things. It does mean I can show off the fans though :020:

I know what your thinking ......'cause its been said before

Cool revo. I like the looks of it. The esc may not be in best location but the mount is nice. I think it is cool that you can see the fans with body on to.

Peace!
