First off welcome to the site. To set up your BL system you need a motor and speed controller. If your going to be running 6 cell packs then the warrior 9918 and 8L will be a good choice for you to run, if you are going to run 7 cell packs only then once again the warrior and a 9L would do ya just fine. Your 3300's or 3700's will both work equally well - the 37's will give ya a little more runtime due to the extra mah. A ubec would be a good idea but it is not absolutely necessary. The ubec ( in case you dont know ) eliminates the receiver battery for your servos. This helps when you wanna run and forgot to charge your receiver pack and have to wait for it to charge ( who likes waiting lol ). CVD's are a necessary upgrade for the most part but with some control on your part ( easy trigger finger ) I would say that you could enjoy the maxx for a little while till the stockers give way. As far as the wiring skills i would say that it is really quite easy - just 3 wires from the motor and 3 from the controller. If your soldering skills are ok - then you'll be o.k. Hope this helps ya - once you drive a BL maxx compared to the stocker - you'll be just like all of us here - AdDiCtEd to It... :)

Hows that "Hope and Change" working out for Ya???
