Mike is right - the Lehner is lighter. I think the Lehner motors have the highest energy density per ounce. There is NO wasted space in those Lehner motors and very little aluminum - as a result, the mounting screw holes are like 2-3 mm deep. Personally, I like Lehner for that reason. The Basic XL is about the same size as a "S" size B50 or Feigao S but has the "guts" of the L motors stuffed into a small can. The Basic series I find to be almost as powerful as the "S" but considerably smaller. I might even RACE with the Basic 2100 with 6s with heatsinks this summer with my emaxx!!! Having higher resistance, the motor won't draw as many amps so it's more lipo friendly.
