No, I have not owned proline super shocks. Although I have driven a few Maxx's equiped with them. The "Ofna" shocks are arguably the best shocks on the market. Why else would owners of X-ray, Mugen , Kyosho, Jammin be choosing them for there competition race trucks. TheUe version has Titanium Nitride coated hardened steel Ø3.5mm shafts unlike the Ofna version. What happens to the anodizing on the inside of the powerstroke shocks as it where's off? Perhaps your right, not the same category does sound harsh. The power strokes are far superior to the stock Traxxas shocks.
