Glow plug #'s - 05.24.2006, 05:20 AM

I bought my engine for my T-Maxx used and the guy I bought it from gave me a bunch of glow plugs. I was looking at some of them tonight and they all had different numbers ranging from 5,6,7 and 8. What are the different #'s for?
Thanks.

I think they are the different heat ranges on the plugs. That was the way hpi was. I can't recall which was which. I think the higher number was a colder plug.

Peace!

So how would it be affected if I were to run the 5 plug? Notice any difference?
Thanks.

You might notice a difference. It would depend on if you run it lean or rich or ect... Chances are it would be more responsive.
