LIPO questions - 06.02.2006, 11:33 AM

Hey Guys,

I graduate today and my birthday is on tuesday so I feel some money coming in.

I'm thinking about building the e-revo finnally but want lipos and nothing else.

What am I looking at price wise for lipos and charger to run my e-revo?

Thinking the 10xl and warrior 9920 would be good.

Thats the thing I have no clue. I mostly just run 14 regualr 3800 cells in all my trucks.

Lipo is new to me. Just know I haven't looked into it because prices have been high. Seems like their dropping alittle.

What shoudl I run lol?

If you like the power of 14 cells you can get a 4s system. That would be close to same power but alot ligher in weight. The 10xl will run nicely on 6s as well. If you got with 9920 you need a lvc (low voltage cutoff). If not you draw the batteries down to far and the be no good. I am running some limn. They like lipo but little more tolerent to voltage.

How much are you willing to spend? I'm sure it might be tough for you to know exactly how much money you'll be receiving, but the sky is pretty much the limit, so long as your wallet can keep up.

Would you want to go with 5s Lipo? If you gear down with that voltage, you'd have a more efficient setup.
