Question One Pack on 9L/9920 System? - 06.06.2006, 06:43 PM

I have a very nice 9L/9920 system that I usually run in very nice my E-Maxx. But having stripped my wheel hexes out recently, my very nice E-Maxx has been down for a while. Now, I am really wanting something to drive, so I stuck my very nice system into my kinda/sort/a little bit nice Rustler (everything seems to be nice:cool:.). I'm going to try 13 GP3300 cells on it (real easy like on the throttle:026: ) when they get done charging. Now, the question:

What will happen to (is it ok to run) my 9L if I run only 6 or 7 cells on it (I have a jumper for the extra plug). I know the Warrior 9920 is rated for 4 - 20 cells, so it would be ok with it. Someone, I think on the Traxxas forum, said that would fry the system, but I'm kinda skeptical about that. I most likely won't keep the system in my Rustler, but I will for maybe a week or so untill my rims come in. If it is not ok to run it like that, I will just keep with the 13 cells for a while, but I would like something that doesn't require my whole street to run safely:036:.

Thanx a lot guys,
Brijar!!!
