With the stock chassis, there are only so many ways to set it up; either the saddle "Dafni" style using an Emaxx tranny, or the motor on one side and the batts on the other using the Revo tranny. Sure, there are slight variations, but that's basically the two conversions you'll see using the stock chassis.

True! But no one has my type of conversion, YET. I am planning on using a type of aluminum peice shaped as a "U" so the batteries are snug in there. Should be done soon.


The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

You know, some of these "conversions" are no more than attaching the Revo suspension on different frames (like the G2R). At that point, it's almost not a Revo anymore, you know what I mean? Not that all the conversions aren't cool, don't get me wrong. It's too bad the stock chassis is kinda oddly shaped - it would make conversions easier (or at least more ideal) if it had some symmetry to it.

Indeed very true! If it was possible, i would make a similar type of stock chassis, but not bent everywhere like it is, make it alot straighter with perfect built in battery trays made out of 7075 aluminum with a thickness of 3mm . Only if i had a CNC. A man can dream, cant he?
