I want (but maybe can't have) a brushless esc that performs just like the Novak/Traxxas EVX (or any modern Novak ESC for that matter). I want reverse and good brakes to compliment the blinding acceleration and I want reliability. I'm using a pair of 6-cell GP3300's that I might upgrade to 7 or 8 cell packs and I would like to use the Feigao 8xl or 9xl (or the XLT-4).

Really not sure which way to go. I thought the Quark Monster 125b was sthe answer but I'm hearing some not so great things about it.

Basically............is there a brushless esc that performs similarly to the stock EVX but for a brushless application? :032:
I think the mamba monster max will be the esc we been waiting for. I have been beating on a mamba max for two weeks and it never stumbled or skipped a beat, i personally think the time put in it will be worth it if it runs like the mamba max.

As for an esc that runs like the evx, i still think the Noavk hv-maxx is a great choice, even though its a little under-powered, it still will run with any nitro, and just as tough as the evx. I have overheated mine on four separate occasions, and thermaled on one of them and it still runs excellent

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

i wouldve let someone else solder/setup my BL system, as ive now got problems, there in this thread: http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3665
i think that if i got a rusty i will put the 380c in the rusty, and run brushed in the T4. the T4 aint tough enough.
