old hacker B50 8L on a BK9920???

Hello, i just wondered if i could run my old B50 8L onto my 9920 controler...
And if yes what will be the ratio to use and the ideal cell number?
Thanks for help, this old motor is dying in my toolbox, and i know it's a very good motor on 14/16cells... does it handle 5S lipo? it seems to have very high rev....

you should be able to run it on the 9920, it's like running a wanderer 8L right? i think it will handle 5s lipo, but run HOT, your over 40K rpm...

Stick around 12 cells, MAYBE 14. I wouldn't go with no more. And yes, it will work fine on a 9920.

oh another question but about lightning diffs... are they the same ratio as stock e-maxx one? or will i have to gear up?

lightning diffs are 4.3:1, maxx are 2.85:1 (i think)

so yes you will have to gear up

Thats for the Lightning PRO diffs. The standard Lightning diffs are standard buggy diffs.

Either way you will have to gear up

Maxx diffs 2.85:1

Lightning Pro 4.3:1

Lightning buggy 3.3:1
