Others have used these (I haven't) yes they are very good motors. I think the longer 1940 series are better for the 1/8 trucks, most guys would say.

Just look at the kv rating to pick what you want... 2000-2500 kv tend to be the motors of choice, but it depends on what you want to do with it, battery choice, etc.
