Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Mamba Max series motors are 540 designed, so the 380 will spool up faster, and if its in a stadium truck that isn't running moabs it should be better. I think mamba motors are of a little nicer quality though. Why not try a lehner basic, very light, small, and efficient.
I would not do the 6t on 3s, simply a waste. Maybe a 7 or 8t.

I don't think it is fair to call the Mamba Max motors low-end.
The rotors in these motors aren't actually full 540 size, but if I remember correctly SpEEdyBL pointed out that it's between a 400 and 540 size. I doubt that the difference between spool up times between a 400 size and a 540 size rotor would be noticeable in a stadium truck unless you're a pro racer that can
feel that sort of thing.
