I just don't have a lot of faith in any metal wheelie bar. I've bent a Swami bar on my rustler, and its a thick 3-4mm plate.

Depends how you drive, but launching a 11+lb truck 5ft in the air at 30+mph to land badly or cartwheel on a wheelie bar or any other bits sticking out usually spells carnage after a while. The wing's saving grace is it is soft flexibl plastic so it has give.

Who knows tho? Maybe it will hold up

That looks to be a stronger wheelie bar than the flat designs I've seen. The problem with most metal designs is that when it bends, it stays there. Now, if some sort of very stiff spring were to be used at the bend, or made of spring steel, that should work too. Or maybe make it out of the plastic RPM uses. Something that allows some degree of flex for those rough landings while maintaining enough stiffness to function as a wheelie bar.

But yes, please do let us know how it holds up. I might just use the wing as a bar since others use it and it seems to hold up...
