Sure ya did ;) :D When I next have the car then I'll chop the chassis apart and modify a pair of sliders. If nothing else it'll work until some dogbones of the right length can be found cheap-ish :)

Its getting my old 9920 and 9XL in, and the plan is to drop 6s2p of them emoli li-ions in eventually, but in the mean time use 14 GP3300's. Using 40 series moabs (7 inchs tall, pretty big). What sort of gearing do you think it should use? 18/51 on the 9XL/14 cells? Or is that asking a bit much of the motor/batteries?

Just spoke to my friend who has the car, he has the tranny out the MGT, tried putting the emaxx one in, but the mounting lugs don't reach the mounts on the chassis - the tranny is too narrow. Any suggestions? I thought it bolted straight up :(

Sounds so simple..its really hard to picture what needs doing, when I don't have the car here :(

Do you think lexan plate adapters would work okay, or would it have to be metal?

It's easy to work on, so it's not a big waste of time if it's not working the way you planned.

I had mine mount to the chassis. I made a plate for the bottom to run the screws thru. I had to dremel the chassis out for the screws to pass by. It only rested on the outer edge of the trans. It is easier to do the plates. Looks better to do the other way.

Peace!

LOL, I don't sleep much to tell you the truth.. It's driving my girl crazy.. But there is a time-difference between you and me, so i consider you where the one that hit the deck quite late..

Leroy, i understand your signature like no other man. You are sooo right.
I have got tons of RC standing upstairs waiting to get finished. i have got the urge to make, to do something. But i am driving my bike for about 4 times a week now, so that's quite an energy absorber. But i get a good feeling back from it..

Daniel left a bit on us too. His last post was quite some time ago.
