They cast the crap then machine it to look like "billet aluminum" products.

People wonder why it's so affordable.

Yep, just read the specs. I didn't realize that the MI didn't come standard with a NiMh pack. Of course, there isn't a 16th or 18th scale that comes with a good NiMh pack from the get go. IB1400's are where it's at.
